Vintage Japanese Go Game Slate and Shell Playing Chips


Beautiful set of Japanese go game playing chips made from shell and slate. Both chips are house in a simple wooden bowl with lid. Purchased at Takashimaya. This game was invented in ancient China more than 2,500 years ago, and is the oldest board game played today.
