This is a vintage Mah Jong set. A Chinese, velvet covered gaming case with bamboo tiles, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1970. Appealing 144-piece vintage case with instructions Displays a desirable aged patina throughout Quality carry cased finished with a tactile velvet covering Superb ruby red palette, a carry handle and dressed with a pair of white metal clasps Opens to reveal a suite of four tile trays, and a fifth accessory tray Each main tile crafted from bamboo and cellulose, and decorated in colour Comes with a small paperback book of game rules, resting within a silk-lined lid sleeve This is an attractive vintage Mah Jong set, presented within a wonderfully tactile case.
