1930's Simplex cinema projector by International Projector Corp of New York

About the Item

A 35 mm Simplex cinema projector by International Projector Corp of New York. Circa 1935. Fitted with a Strong portable reflector arc lamp light box by The Strong Electric Corp of Toledo, Ohio. Now fitted with an E27 electric light. With a Taylor-Hobson 3 ½ inch = 89 mm f/1.9 projection lens. RCA Photophone type PS24 sound attachment. International Projector Corporation Patent Notice dated: DEC 1934 Serial number: 51567 International Projector Corporation: Headquarters 90 Gold Street, New York; merger with Acme Motion Picture Projector Company in 1925; merger with Precision Machine Co. Inc. and Nicholas Powers Co. in 1930; merger with National-Simplex-Bludworth, Inc post second world war; continued manufacturing into early 1950s.
