British Royal Family A Rare And Historical Royal Coronation Flag from The Coronation Of HRH King George VI in 1937. George VI (Albert Frederick Arthur George; 14 December 1895 – 6 February 1952) was King of the United Kingdom and the Dominions of the British Commonwealth from 11 December 1936 until his death in 1952. He was also the last Emperor of India from 1936 until the British Raj was dissolved in August 1947, and the first Head of the Commonwealth following the London Declaration of 1949. The Flag is made of Natural Cotton. Has the words British Made printed in one corner. This is a very rare and important piece of British Royal History. Flag is in superb vintage condition, the colours bold and bright. Width 83cm x Height 67cm Please note we also have coronation flags for Edward VII, Edward VIII, George VI and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth II and an order of the garter flag for Queen Elizabeth II available on separate listings.
