A large traditional Black Forest style woodcarving of a farmer´s wife. Hand carved in Germany around 1920. A great addition to the rustic interior. Very good condition. Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
The tradition of wood carving, using manual skills to make everyday objects and fine art sculptures, is found throughout Europe.
