Eastport Pinky Ship Model by Robert Innis
About the Item
Fine model of the Eastport Pinky "Cormorant" by Cape Cod model master Robert Innis (1893-1983). Innis was a talented builder who rigged ship models with the use of a prosthesis. His ship models are in the Hart Nautical Museum at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts and the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. The planked hull is varnished above the waterline and painted green below. Model is well rigged with standing and running cords.
