Half Model Rainbow
About the Item
Fine half model of the 1934 America’s Cup Yacht “Rainbow”. This is the here Herreshoff Yacht that won the cup. Hull is painted white over gold. Planked deck with brass details including wheel pedestal, binnacle, compass, etc. There are skylights, companionways, mast, lifeboat, winches, etc. Awesome half model. Mounted to a mahogany backboard.
