About the Item
19th Century black wrought iron alpine front door bell.
This is a delightful and very unusual item, the brass bell is housed in an attractive wrought Iron frame, it is suspended on a rocking bracket and rung by pulling the chain and it has quite a loud ring, it has a makers stamp on one side and the number 1824 on the other
The bell is in all round good condition, it is 22” tall including the chain (14” without), 10” wide and 11” deep
