Antique Scottish Hardwood Nautical Ship's Wheel and American Brass Horn Pairing

About the Item
This antique nautical pairing consists of an antique solid hardwood ship's wheel made by the Mactaggart Scott & Co. of Edenborough Scotland in circa 1900 and a more recent brass air Horn or whistle made in the United States in circa 1920. The ship's wheel is very heavy for its size and has a brass hub fitting with the maker's marks on the front and a brass CAP on the handle at the twelve o'clock position. The air whistle is made by the Cunningham of Seattle Washington and has not been tested.
