Pair of Solid Copper Port and Starboard Lights by "Griffiths & Sons"

About the Item

Pair of highest quality solid copper port and starboard ship's lanterns by "Griffiths & Sons." These ship's lanterns are of highly polished copper and brass with sturdy bezels, hinged tops, hoisting iron carry handles, removable red and green filters, Fresnel lenses, etc. Wired with new sockets for home enjoyment. Fitted with brass chandler makers badges from Eli Griffiths and Sons of Birmingham, England. Also have brass port and starboard badges. Please realize these are not a perfect pair; there are subtle differences. There is also a flake on one lens. Overall dimensions: 24"H x 14"L x 13"D. Weight is 20 pounds each. Price $3895/ pair.
