About the Item

Amethyst is a quartz containing traces of manganese oxide are responsible for the violet color. Amethyst is usually found in cavities of volcanic rock and is also present in ore corridors. The name amethyst comes from the Greek and means "under the influence" (Greek: "a-methyl"). The sobering and enlightening effect of amethyst was already known in antiquity and amethyst was centuries ago worn against drunkenness. Amethyst is a stone that brings earthly and spiritual balance. Very useful in places like waiting rooms, consultation rooms, meditation rooms and bedrooms.
