About the Item

Calcite is a relatively soft rock that is common and can be found in many colors. common and relatively soft stone. It belongs to the carbonates and is transparent or translucent with a glassy sheen. Species include orange calcite, yellow calcite, white calcite, blue calcite, green calcite, red calcite, MANGANO calcite and cobalto calcite. Pure bright calcite is also called double calcite because of the double refraction of the light. Grey or beige calcite with soft, round shapes is called fairy stone calcite.
