Ballerina factory molds. Great and unusual find! When dolls were made in the USA, factories used copper molds to form body parts. A rubber compound would be poured into the form, hardened, then be removed. These are the leg and arm molds of a ballerina. These rare and unusual factory molds are from the mid-20th century. Contrary to the exterior roughness of these forms, the interior of the molds was designed to produce a beautiful leg/arm for this ballerina doll...

    Located in New York, NY
Handmade in Jerusalem, this Israeli silver-plated mezuzah is distinguished by its strikingly modern aesthetic. Bold Hebrew letters from top to bottom read, “Shaddai” used for one of the names of G-d. The letters displayed shows a modern aesthetic of linear and minimalistic quality. The Mezuzah is a tiny receptacle that houses a parchment scroll which contains two verses from the scriptures. It is attached to the doorway of every Jewish home. Israeli artist, Israel Hadany is both a sculptor and crafter with specialization in silver made Judaica. He studied painting at the Avni Institute in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1957.
