French Antique Petite Draw Telescope in Brass and Wood

About the Item

An antique French single draw telescope. Petite in size, its main barrel is covered with wonderful dark, veneer fruit wood, while the fixings and sliding drawer are gleaming brass. Designed to be hand-held, it is likely that this beautiful spy glass was used at the opera or theatre, for a better view of the performance.
