1943 United States Navy Telescope. Used primarily as part of the Mark 16 Aiming System on 50 caliber anti-aircraft gun mounts. Fitted with three sun filters and density knob. The instrument has been retro-fitted to an antique surveyor’s tripod. Circa 1942
