Large Nautical Bronze Ship's Propeller, 1970s

About the Item

A large, bronze propeller from a 1970s lifeboat. Great patina. We had it mounted on a custom-made iron stand to turn it into a great sculpture. These also make great centerpieces and if you use a 1" test tube, you can put flowers at the center, or use with candles. A lovely blend of feminine and masculine. Center hole has a 1.25" diameter. The propeller itself is 17" in diameter and 5" deep. The Lockhart Collection is a personally curated gallery of antiques and fine jewelry, owned and operated by Deborah Lockhart Phillips. The antiques and vintage pieces encompass Nautical Artifacts & Instruments, Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern Furniture and Lighting, British Campaign furniture, and of course the finds that simply defy being categorized. The Lockhart Collection is a notable and trusted resource for many interior designers and movie production companies. An affinity for the sea, spirit of adventure, a discerning eye and a belief in keeping life interesting, informs her style and therefore the collection. Deborah sources quality, one-of-a-kind and distinguished pieces; found both domestically and abroad and has done so for over 30+ years. Located on Nantucket Island.
