Baroque Taxidermy

These incredible Baroque style arrangements were made most likely in the late 1950s. They appear to have been made by the great artist, jewelry designer, set decorator and decorator Tony Duquette. The arrangements are based within turned and polychrome wooden urns that rest on marble bases. The arrangements are a match left and right pair that issue from elaborately conceived shell ornaments that center on a large cut and faceted crystal amber colored round brilliant jewel that has above it dangling down from a real natural amber bead...
