A Taxidermy Study Of An African Impala, By Anthony Redmile, London, c.1970

About the Item

An extremely rare taxidermy study of an African impala by Anthony Redmile. Also known as a rooibok, it is a medium-sized antelope found in the eastern and southern regions of Africa. Mounted on a tapering silver plated base, impressed and signed J Anthony Redmile to the base, retailed in his shop and purchased in the 1970s. CONDITION In Good Vintage Condition. The silver plating to the base is a little dull and worn, there is a little “play“ on the screw that bolts the skull onto the stand but nothing of major concern. Please refer top photographs.
