Decorative tobacco jar in cast iron with decor of animals and figures. Designed by Carl Elmberg for Näfveqvarns bruk, Swedish Grace, 1920s.
Carl Elmberg (1889–1955) sculptor and craftsman. Worked after his studies in Germany and Italy with the sculptor Carl Milles before starting to work independently. Among Elmberg's works are portrait busts, reliefs and public decorations. For Näfveqvarn's mill, he designed several objects of cast iron, for example this tobacco jar.
