Copper Bull Dog Pipe Holder Striker Lighter, circa 1937

This rare, striker table lighter, in the shape of a running French Bulldog, is also a pipe holder. It was created in 1937, by the Ronson Company, and it is featured in "Ronson The World's Greatest Lighter" by Urban Cummings, and listed as lighter # 146 in the book. It is 4" tall x 4 1/4" long x 2 1/4" wide, and it is in Very good condition. It is highly detailed, right down to the dog's elaborately studded collar. It is done in a beautiful copper finish which can be polished to it's original condition. If you are a collector of vintage lighters, this unique and whimsical dog would make a fabulous addition to your collection. If you own and love French Bulldogs, this very unusual, vintage collectible would be an amazing decorative piece in an office, or den.
