Antique French Growler Bulldog Toy

A French papier-mâché growler bulldog with pull chain which makes a growler noise when pulled. Circa 1900, France.

Antique Toy in the shape of a Bulldog Dog. This Bulldog Toy Dog dates circa 1920-1930. It's handmade of velvet and stuffed with straw. This Art Deco Toy features a seated English bulldog, Frenchie dog. The Straw is stuffed on a metal frame, has glass eyes, a leather collar and a jointed neck. This soft toy has the color golden brown. For the period, late Art Nouveau, Early Art Deco, it was very unique to own such a toy as it was very expensive in that time.
