Automobile Amusement Park Battery Powered c1930's Believed to be one-of-a-kind

About the Item

Certainly, the most unusual Child’s Battery Powdered Electric Car I have ever seen. As the story was told to me back in the 1970’s, it was actually produced for the owner of an amusement park, who had a difficult time walking his extensive grounds. When you take a good hard look, you will see that the front end is actually one huge cast iron component and that leads me to think that it may have been constructed by an amusement ride manufacture. Power is provided by one very large electric motor with a standard 12-volt Automobile battery and the car moves quite briskly. Tires are solid rubber, also typical of amusement park rides, so there is no concern for having to keep them pumped up with air, or having an annoying flat. The paint has it fair share of scratches and chips, for which I blame my children. Quite possibly a one-of-a-kind and I am guessing it was produced in the 1930's.
