Vintage Mid-Century Modern Large Pine Wood Birdcage
Located in Topeka, KS
Awesome Mid-Century Modern large pine wood birdcage or bird cage. It is in wonderful vintage condition. It does have age appropriate wear that only adds to its charm. There were a couple broken spindles that have been repaired as well as the top strip. And the perches have definitely been used and pecked by its past inhabitants. Please see photos, circa mid-20th century. Note: We do not know all the chemicals that might have been used on the wood for this cage so do not know if it is safe for living creatures. Use your own judgement. Wow! What a cool vintage birdcage this is. I can imagine it hanging or setting in your Mid-Century Modern home whether housing a living bird or displaying a collection of Venetian glass birds...
