Antique Art Nouveau Cast Iron and Brass Adjustable Book Stand by Judd Company

About the Item

Art Nouveau bronzed cast iron and brass book stand attributed to the Judd Foundry, c. 1920s. The stand portrays the profile of a pretty Mucha woman in relief with flowing hair and flowers on both ends. It smoothly slides to adjust from 8.5" to 14.5". The bronzed cast iron is well patinated and has lots of beautiful detail. Marked 9788 on the inner end. A wonderful accessory for a desk or bookcase.
