Art Deco Skyscraper Style Molded and Frosted Glass Bookends
About the Item
This lovely pair of Art Deco Skyscraper Style Molded and Frosted Glass Bookends originate from the United States, Circa 1935. Rendered in molded glass with a serene and beautifully achieved frosted finish, these bookends consist of five curved skyscraper style tiers leading upwards. When placed together and viewed from above they create a bullet form silhouette, unifying these pieces when used apart as bookends, unifying with their placement and substantial for frequent use or display. These lovely pieces are excellently scaled and exemplify the design and material characteristics of Art Deco Design, styling well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
