About the Item
Rare pair of art deco brass "scroll" bookends by Chase & Co., circa 1930s. These are very early Chase bookends that had a limited production run and appeared for the only time in Chase's first "Specialties Catalog" in 1933. Designed from a solid piece of brass into waves, the bookends are structurally sound with no damage but have some scuffing as seen in the attached pictures.
