A Pair of White Agate Horse Figurehead Bookends

About the Item

A stunning pair of exquisitely hand-carved figurehead bookends sculpted from a singular piece of authentic Mexican white agate, beautifully grained and wonderfully preserved. Prized for centuries dating back to the ancient Greek and Egyptian civilizations, this world renowned stone became popular for its' healing properties and is believed to promote spiritual growth, positive energy, inner stability, fertility, marital fidelity, happiness, emotional balance, good fortune, and more. Displaying various degrees of opacity, white agate is associated with peace, purity, and calmness. Soothing bands of gray, tan, and brown add natural complexity and interest, blending perfectly into neutral color schemes. Mined and artisan crafted in Mexico circa 1920-1930. Perfect display piece for the horse lover or equestrian’s office or home library. Dimensions (Each): 3.75”L x 2.25”W x 6.5”H *FREE SHIPPING in the continental USA.
