Round case: height 29cm, diameter 41cm
Map case: height 27cm, width 27cm, depth 10cm
Consisting of a cylindrical hat box a Michelin maps & guide case, these curious vintage travel articles come from the first half of twentieth century England, standing the test of time and testifying to a rich English travel history. The map case, sleeker, thin, and tidy, bears a label showing various locations of Michelin factories across the British isles. The hat box, with a number of leather straps, also bears a label GWR: the Great Western Railway, and Oxford, through which it travelled.
