LAPIS CUFF ON AZURITE A blade of midnight blue lapis lazuli slices boldly across a silver cuff in Studio Greytak’s Lapis Cuff on Azurite. Thought to guide the soul to heavenly contemplation, this bluest of blue stones has been part of some of history’s most epic works of art including the death mask of King Tut and as the pigment in Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel. Here it is framed by a brilliant iridescent ammolite, ancient fossils turned to gemstones, that flash a rainbow of color while bringing personal awakening. Brilliant orange fire opals, symbols of hope and luck, blaze beside deep green diopside, which lights the way to spiritual treasure. Earthy green strands of edenite inside clear quartz round out the piece with a special harmony, creating love, acceptance, and unity—even in the most polarizing of times. This assembly of stones is grounded at the base by a stunning piece of azurite-malachite.
