Exceptional Antique European Carved Oak Hall Stand
About the Item
A fine Hall Stand with overall hand carved frame with Bobbin style supports with cap finials, central beveled mirror with shelf, ten coat/ hat pegs, and a single drawer with a handle of a carved and snarling animal head. The stand is stained in a very dark Ebonized stain. The hand carving is crisp, well done and very decorative. The drip pans were replaced at an earlier time.
The Hall Stand measures 83” high by 36” wide by 15.75” deep.
Condition: Please see detail photos. The overall condition is quite good with some expected and acceptable age-related wear including stable age cracks to the bottom board and slight stable board separation as well as some sporadic nicks to the frame edges which do not detract from the authentic and very decorative presentation.
