Bent transparent war era plastic.
Walnut finish maple.
Designed 1945/46by the Detroit firm: Sundberg-Ferar from the General Motors
Styling Studio.
Super early use of bent transparent plastic.
Transparent plastic began to be regularly used during the war for aircraft and
submarines 1936-1945 as an advanced technology.
Excellent example of Industrially Designed atomic age furniture products.
Looks simple and attractive. Also integrates symmetrical common components
