This is a tall antique music stand. An English, oak adjustable recital rest, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.
Strikingly decorative stand with fine craftsmanship and of good proportion
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
Quality oak stocks present fine grain interest and rich russet hues
Superb range of adjustment placing the rest at your desired height
Appealing pierced fretwork decorates the sheet music stand, with bronze rotating stoppers

Set neatly within the frame, the rest adjusts upon a toothed ratchet guide
Finished with a bronze adjustable screw to secure the rest upon the pole
Slender support stand topped with a charming finial
