About the Item
A beautiful cushion made from a rare and unusual 18th century hand embroidered stitched fragment of a regal looking dog placed onto antique linen with a wide early antique cut silk velvet passementerie to all edges in complimentary colours - a plain linen back - hand stitched bottom seam - soft down feather inner pad
In dating this to the mid 18th century I have erred on the side of caution as it could be a century earlier
