Italian chestnut colored silk pillow with a horizontal composition of layers of antique Italian and French trim of various periods and types dating back as far as the 18th century. The center and outermost stripes are 18th century French silver lace needlework. The central applique is 19th century Italian raised gold metallic thread embroidery embellished with three tassels. Crafted by an Italian artisan. Down filled. Unique.
