Antique Rustic Heavy Hemp Fabric 19th Century / Contemporary Linen Embroidered
About the Item
This pair of cushions are made from pieces recovered from an antique, rustic, heavy hemp fabric sheet (19th century France) on one side. This fabric is hand spun and hand-woven. The other side is made of a contemporary sand beige linen, machine embroidered in bright white. The closure is an invisible zip.
A way to recover the intact parts of an antique fabric that would otherwise end up forgotten.
A part of history meets the contemporary with an elegant and fresh result.
Two materials with opposite effects and sensations, which together make these pillows at the same time rustic and luxurious, versatile and striking.
Perfect to give an accent to a couch or a bed.
