About the Item
A shaggy pillow to brighten your living room. Introducing Awanay Sur Pillows - our wildly fun, handmade wool pillows with a playful twist. Fair trade and totally boho, these shag pillows are the perfect addition to any home decor! Superbly gray and naturally soft, they help you add that extra "oomph" of fun to any room.
The Sur throw pillow is made from hand spun virgin sheep wool, woven by hand by master weavers who live in the remote area of La Puna, Argentina using ancestral techniques. The entire process from shearing to final finish is done within the same family or community. This pillow is made with a unique weave and each pillow takes two weeks to make. The reverse side of the pillow is 100% cotton with a bronze zipper. This shaggy style of pillow instantly creates a great texture and looks great with Mid-Century Modern interiors.
