About the Item
This bold geometric design is inspired by the traditional weaving techniques of the Kuba people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. A varied and complex tradition, juxtaposing naturally-occurring and man-made shapes to convey intricate religious concepts and reference shared myths, the diamond is one of its strongest recurring motifs. We re-imagine that basic pattern here in the highly structured fashion reserved for royalty, in a variety of modern colors. Each pillow features a double-sided design in a natural cotton/linen blend and finished with a hidden zipper.
