Tent bands are done almost by all the tribes of Turkmen peoples of Central Asia. They functioned as decorative hangings around their dwelling called Yurt. This very pillow is made from a Karakalpak one.
It does not come with an insert but a bag made to the size to accommodate insert materials.
Linen in the back.
Zipper closure.
