Luxury pillow created from an exquisite piece of vintage kilim rug combined with Irish Linen by Irish designer Katie Larmour. Unique and one-of-a-kind. In fabulous pink hues mixed with warm Burgundy, wine brown. Each cushion is constructed in Ireland. Filled with a new, custom-made, plush duck feather insert, lined in organic cotton, and finished with a concealed zip. Backed in new natural undyed Irish linen on the reverse. Irish Linen is highly regarded worldwide, known since the turn-of-the-century as ‘white gold’ and the ultimate ‘aristocrat of textiles’. Katie Larmour is an associate member of The Irish Linen Guild and highlighted as a ‘recommended purveyor of Irish Linen goods’ by the guild on their official website. It has been created from an up-cycled, recycled luxury fabric, used with the intentions of promoting a more eco-friendly environment by using already existing materials. We both celebrate and cherish the past and take care with rare and precious vintage and antique materials. Through layers of carefully added backing the delicate fabric has been fortified for longevity and thus preserved.
