This art rug was woven by Odabashian's network of family-owned weavers near Mirzapur, India with the finest New Zealand wool. The design for this rug created by renowned Mexican architect Paola Calzada for the 2011 exhibition "Tapetes, Tejiendo Historias" at the Franz Meyer Museum in Mexico City. Paola Calzada Prats is a Mexican architect. Graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. She obtained a masters in Industrial Design by Futurarium Scuola de Arte, Architettura e Design and two specialization by the “Istituto Europeo del Design” on furniture production and interior design. While in Milan, she worked for two years as a junior architect for Matteo Thun & Partners. One of the five most important firms in Milan, Italy.
