Antique Akstafa/ Kazak Caucasian Runner, 3'6" x 11'

About the Item

From Shirvan group of rugs but geographically within Kazak area. Designed with birds of happiness. This rug has traditional large birds on the field. The medallions are typical ‘Akstafa' large, squarish eight-pointed with the traditional cruciform interior design. This rug is unusual in many ways. There aren't many ‘Akstafa' rugs without the traditional large birds on the field.
