This is a long vintage Meshwani runner. A Caucasian, woven decorative rug or reception hall carpet, dating to the late 20th century. Striking Kenareh runner size at 60cm x 280cm Artisan hand-crafted using traditional skills with minimal wear or fading Woven red ground with blue and white accents Offers a desirably comfortable underfoot feel Six diamond medallions to the centre with blue sawtooth decor White beaded frames and small triangle motif add further detail Tramline borders with small foliate diamonds and geometric patterns Red and blue kilim ends finished with short tassel bands This is usefully sized, large vintage Meshwani runner, graced with appealing colour and ideal for the entrance hall.
