About the Item
This fine wool Kilim Runner is a modern flat-weave Kilim rug constructed in the early 2000s. The design features a repeat geometric design woven with a vibrant colour palette including rust, beige and brown that make up the repeat geometric design. This has then been framed by a cream and brown border that encloses the structure. The elegant colour palette and sophisticated geometric design make this piece the perfect accent rug for any home.
This vintage kilim was woven with locally sourced materials, including fine hand-spun wool and cotton that have been dyed with organic vegetable dyeing techniques that have been used for generations. The materials used are of the finest quality making this piece durable and last for generations if cared for correctly.
