Antique Belouch Rug with Dark Wine Field
About the Item
The dark wine-brown field shows seven offset rows of tall, end-pointed cartouches with small, square volutes on the edges. Cream is the main accent tone and there is visible abrash. The narrow borders show colour diagonals of small lozenges, interlocked ‘s and a continuous scroll. Wool construction. Medium/moderate weave. Good condition.
