Antique Persian Lavar Oriental Carpet, Large Size, circa 1890
An antique Persian Lavar oriental carpet, size: 15'5" x 10'7", circa 1890. This handwoven large sized work has an incredibly fine weave, and is characterized by a central medallion on the immense ivory central field. The combination of the finely articulated floral elements and the central medallion makes for a striking aesthetic, heightened by the handsome color palette of ivory tones throughout. Short wool pile. Excellent condition. A truly remarkable piece that will instantly add color, sophistication and prestige to your interior decor!
