About the Item

Charming rustic Caucasus region tribal village rug with vibrant natural hues and asymmetrical kite medallion pattern. Large open fields with signatures, star motifs and vibrant variegated colours make this rug exude warmth and character. The abrupt asymmetry relates to it's authenticity and the lack of contrived appearance unlike many rugs seen today tells a tale of it's own, making it a striking conversation piece. Minor fringe wear and small areas of clean old repair work. Overall pile in good condition with much life to offer. Wool on wool.
