This rug is an antique Shirvan rug; The indigenous residents made tribal Shirvan Rugs of the Southern Caucasus, now known as the Eastern and Northeastern area of present-day Azerbaijan. The raw materials used are of the finest quality, with only the best hand-spun wool and cotton, dyed with organic dyeing techniques and delicately woven on looms to create this elegant piece.
