Eastern-European rugs have that whimsical appeal that is hard to find in any other carpet types. They frequently incorporate stylized florals, typical of hand embroidery, that are permeated with a great deal of rustic charm. The Bessarabian-inspired rug before your eyes combines floral and architectural motifs (more characteristic of the Western-European weaving, including Aubusson and Savonnerie) which results in a classy, rich yet not overwhelming, design. The color palette is light, warm and delicate, with a pinch of feminine energy. The soft tones of light gray, beige, gold, yellow, taupe and off-white form a coherent composition, ready to complement any kind of decor.
The execution of the Bessarabian design rug is second to none. Carefully woven by the hand of a skilled artisan of the finest wool, this marvelous modern carpet has a firm and dependable structure.
