Samarkand rugs are flowers born in the arid landscape of Central Asia that can become statement pieces in your décor.
The marvelous vintage rug before your eyes is a Classic example of Samarkand Craft. Its main field is occupied by an all-over pomegranate pattern, believed to provide fertility and bring auspiciousness into the household. Consecutive borders carry floral and geometric designs, exhibiting the diversity of Samarkand artistry, permeated with both Middle-Eastern and Far-Asian influences. Everything is rendered in a stately and versatile color palette of brown and beige with pinkish undertones that will easily match any decor.
Next to gripping design, the vintage rug can boast of refined workmanship.
