One of a Kind Hand Knotted Traditional Oriental Black Area Rug
About the Item
With understated palettes and allover designs, the rugs in the Mogul Collection will bring timeless sophistication to any room. Influenced by a spectrum of Turkish, Indian, and Persian designs, the artisans who handweave these wool rugs imbue craftsmanship and enduring traditions into every piece.
One-of-a-kind rugs take at minimum 4 months to complete by hand. Our Artisans continue to use techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation of craftsmen, weavers, and dyers.
Made using plant-based dyes that create rich, saturated colors, their organic origins mean they are ecologically conscious and free from harsh chemicals and synthetic compounds.
Due to the unique nature of each piece, imperfections in these rugs are part of their beauty that should be celebrated in your home.

- Traditional Hand-Knotted Afghan RugLocated in Dallas, TXAfghan rugs, often known as Afghan carpets, are hand-woven rugs that are historically created in Afghanistan, though many are also weaved by Afghan refugees in Pakistan. Their hallmark appearance is bizarrely elongated human and animal designs. Carpets are sold all over Afghanistan, although the majority are sold in Mazar-e Sharif.
